Special sensors start the process of cleaning after 15 minutes when the cat goes out of the litter box. If the cat enters the unit while cleaning cycle is on, sensors detect the cat and restart the cleaning cycle for an extra 15 minutes delay.
A scooping metal rake collects the clumps from the litter box and put them into a waste container. It has a more powerful motor and calm compared to other similar brands available in the market.
The waste compartment of Pet Zone Smart Scoop litter box makes use of disposable bags to dump cat’s litter. So, there is no need to spend your hard earned money on costly cartridge replacements. The unit has angled deflector technology with fins and eminent height that puts clumps inside the litter pan, not on the floor area.  The unit is operated with AC adapter, not by batteries.
